Client Support Specialist

Overview: The primary role of the Client Support Specialist (CSS) is to deliver outstanding customer service to our key account portfolio. This will be achieved through effective project management, information gathering and dissemination, customer communication, and collaboration with the production team, while actively seeking opportunities to enhance the value we provide to our clients. The CSS will also oversee all facets of managing assigned accounts, addressing customer concerns except for significant projects that necessitate direct involvement from sales representatives. Ideally, the CSS will start engaging with clients during initial orders and gradually become the main point of contact for most customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation of sales orders and job documentation
  • Job initiation and workflow management
  • Requesting CAD layouts
  • Conducting new business assessments and meetings
  • Processing combo orders and ensuring accurate specifications
  • Managing graphic elements
  • Overseeing press checks
  • Coordinating shipping releases
  • Engaging with customers
  • Preparing monthly sales forecasts
  • Conducting board forecasts
  • Addressing quality concerns and non-conformance reports (NCRs)
  • Developing and expanding accounts
  • Responding to requests for quotes (RFQs) for existing clients
  • Ability to work a standard 8-hour day with potential overtime as needed

Required Skills:

  • Strong grasp of customer account management principles
  • Basic knowledge and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • High level of organization and meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficient time management and prioritization abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Mathematical proficiency in basic operations and the ability to interpret data visually
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Education and Experience:

A minimum of a two-year college or university program certificate; or two to four years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
