We are seeking a highly skilled Product Design Engineer to join our team at Amazon Web Services. Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products that meet our high standards for safety and security.
  • Develop and maintain product designs, including mechanical parts, assembly, construction, and electrical drawings.
  • Work with contract manufacturers to integrate design changes and develop processes that promote quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support manufacturing activities for new products on concurrent projects in multiple geographical locations.
  • Contribute to the development of engineering change management processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in new product design, development, and support of manufacturing of power distribution equipment.
  • Experience with Change Management and Product Lifecycle Management applications.
  • Proficiency in CAD packages such as AutoCad, Solidworks, or Creo.
  • Experience in discrete product manufacturing.
