Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Interventional Radiology team at Carle Foundation Hospital. As an Angiography Specialist, you will play a critical role in conducting special procedures and working closely with radiologists to obtain accurate results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct special procedures, including angiography and CT radiography, under the direct supervision of a radiologist.
  • Exhibit competency in performing and filming procedures, ensuring accurate and complete examinations.
  • Deviate from routines when necessary to accommodate patient needs or radiologist requests.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, including catheters, guidewires, and sterile trays.
  • Obtain and document accurate pre and post-procedure information.
  • Follow JCAHO patient safety goals and maintain quality care throughout procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or Certificate in Radiologic Technology.
  • Radiography (R)(ARRT) certification and 1 year IEMA Radiography License in Illinois.
  • 1-3 years of experience in problem-solving, setting priorities, and organizing work.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and ability to work well with others.
