We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Specialist to join our team at Goodwill Northern New England. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient processing and sorting of donations.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and accept donations, ensuring they meet our quality standards
- Track and sort donations into the correct value stream
- Provide exceptional customer service to donors, responding to their inquiries and concerns
- Operate power equipment to organize and store donated products efficiently
- A positive and friendly attitude, with a strong commitment to teamwork
- Basic mathematical and literacy skills, with the ability to use essential job equipment and tools
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings and weekends
- Successful completion of a criminal background check meeting agency standards
- Physical capability to lift and move objects, including lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly
- Prior experience in light manufacturing, warehouse work, or donation-related tasks
- High school diploma, GED, HiSET, or equivalent
- A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, and dental insurance
