Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Hotel Painter to join our team at Acts Retirement-Life Communities. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine to complex surface preparation, including drywall finishing, selecting appropriate paint materials, and using various application techniques to achieve a high-quality finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Removes old finishes and preps surface for interior and/or exterior painting.
- Applies coats of primer, paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings, other structures, and/or equipment.
- Assists with light carpentry and punch out.
- Assists with ordering paint materials, estimating amount of paint needed, and coordinating schedule with other phases of work.
- Maintains inventory of supplies, including paint brushes, tarps, chemicals, etc.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of painting experience.
- Construction or maintenance related experience is preferred.
