Compensation

$60-65 per hour

Responsibilities

As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will:

  • Facilitate and coordinate care by providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Health System.
  • Provide direction to/management of other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.
  • Work collaboratively with, and provide leadership for, a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support program initiatives that support quality, safety, and excellence in care.
  • Participate in promoting improvement initiatives (clinical, financial, operational) that support, protect, and promote area of specialty.
  • Implement initiatives in area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership.
  • Foster a clinical environment of service excellence.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Current registered nurse license in the state of Maryland, or licensed in a compact state.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience.
