Heavy Equipment Operator

Kentucky Aggregate - Cumberland River Quarry is currently recruiting for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This role involves operating heavy machinery in a quarry and waterfront environment.
Estimated SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job ResponsibilitiesOperating Heavy Equipment: The successful candidate will be responsible for operating 50-100 ton haul trucks, water trucks, and other heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Quarry Operations: The operator will work in a fast-paced quarry environment, completing pre-shift inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Waterfront Operations: The operator will also work on the waterfront, loading barges on fixed and floating docks, and hauling materials to the Rip Rap Plant.
Required Skills and QualificationsEducation and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment.
Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work well under pressure, and a strong understanding of quarry operations and safety procedures.
Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license, and any required certifications for operating heavy equipment.
