About the Job

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Laboratory Technician to join our team at APR Consulting, Inc. Our client, a leading electric utility company, requires a professional to perform laboratory maintenance, testing, and analysis on various projects.

Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory maintenance, testing, and analysis on multiple projects.
  • Work with various types of customer-side-of-meter equipment, including advanced air conditioning systems and heat pump water heaters.
  • Operate laboratory tools and equipment, including hand-held manual or power tools, and machine tools.
  • Use large or complex equipment in the laboratory setting.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree required.
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred.
  • Operating laboratory test equipment, including instrumentation and sensors.
  • Calibrating and performing inventory tracking on various types of lab tools and equipment.
  • Setting up and performing maintenance on various types of lab tools and lab testing equipment.
  • Completing work safely and documenting the work performed.
  • Communicating results effectively to team members.
