Position Summary

The Class A CDL Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating a variety of Class A CDL vehicles. This role involves safely transporting various loaded trailers to designated locations while strictly adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The position also requires the operation of vacuum trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and tankers, necessitating a comprehensive understanding of the functions associated with each vehicle type. We provide training on our specialized equipment, ensuring that your work is dynamic and engaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all company, state, and federal safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Transport equipment to job sites and utilize appropriate tools for safe project execution.
  • Conduct daily inspections of vehicles and maintain them in safe and clean condition, including decontamination and refueling post-project.
  • Work in various environments, both indoors and outdoors, and in all weather conditions.
  • Complete necessary documentation, including reports, manifests, work orders, and time sheets accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain electronic logs in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in the company's DOT drug and alcohol program, including random testing.
  • Be available for weekend work and extended travel, with accommodations and per diem provided.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) with 1-3 years of relevant experience or training.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Willingness to work at various customer locations and overtime as needed.
  • Excellent driving record; current driving abstract and proof of certifications required.
  • Must pass pre-employment DOT drug screening.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform job duties safely and effectively, including passing a driving test.
Certifications and Licenses

Valid Class A CDL is required; HazMat, Doubles/Triples, and Tanker endorsements are advantageous. A TWIC card or the ability to obtain one is preferred.
