Position Overview:

University Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Acute Care/Trauma Surgeon to join our expanding trauma system. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our trauma program.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage critically ill and injured patients in our 24/7 Acute Care Surgery service and Trauma/Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex trauma and surgical needs.
• Participate in teaching and education of medical students and residents from multiple departments.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical research projects and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• ABMS-BC/BE in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.
• Strong clinical and leadership skills, with a passion for teaching and education.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
