Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a leading multinational manufacturer in the Consumer Package Goods space to find a skilled Finance Manager - Controller to lead Plant Finance and Accounting operations from our Buffalo Grove, IL location.
This critical role involves reporting to the CFO of the Business Unit and requires an experienced professional with expertise in process improvements, cost analysis, and inventory management. As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you will contribute to strategic financial decision-making and drive business growth through data-driven insights and recommendations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee Month End Close and Financial Reporting processes, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Sales, and Marketing.
- Design and implement comprehensive financial planning and budgeting processes.
- Perform moderate accounting activities, including the month-end close and reporting process.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA/CMA certification a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of costing and inventory management principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with consumer goods industry trends and best practices a plus.
The offered salary range is between $130,000 and $140,000 annually, along with a performance-based bonus.
