Maintenance Technician

This position is a critical part of Sherwin-Williams' manufacturing team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production and facility equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance and be able to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance inspections and service on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
- Repair and replace damaged or worn parts, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Collaborate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines and equipment
- Stay up-to-date with technical knowledge through training and professional development
- Assist in electrical projects and perform minor electrical repairs as needed
- Maintain and service building equipment, including HVAC, lighting, water, and sewer systems
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status
- Minimum 1 year of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
- 2+ years of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
- Industrial, electrical, and/or welding certification or license
- Experience applying electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic concepts
- Experience implementing Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)
