Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Before and After School Care Site Supervisor to join our team at the YMCA of Greater Waukesha County. As a key member of our youth development team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans, supervising staff, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement engaging and educational activities for children before and after school
  • Supervise and support a team of staff members to ensure high-quality programming
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and community partners
  • Manage program materials and supplies, and maintain a safe and clean learning environment
  • Collaborate with local school district administration and staff to develop programming that aligns with district values and policies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in education or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 240 hours of experience working with children in an approved setting
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
