Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
  • Position patients correctly for imaging procedures
  • Administer contrast media as required
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images
Requirements:
  • ARRT (CT) certification and BLS required
  • RT (T) and ASRT preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with GE and Meditech systems preferred
Work Environment:

HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is a 18-bed radiology department with a team of 8 staff members, including radiologists, radiology technologists, ultrasound technologists, MRI technologists, and CT technologists. We use ALL GE equipment, including MRI units, scanners, cameras, and x-ray and fluoroscopy equipment. Our EMR system is Meditech.
