Job Overview
As a key member of the team reporting to the Application Engineering Manager, the Product Innovation Scientist will play a crucial role in:
- Leading the development and implementation of innovative fiber-based catalytic solutions through collaboration with various departments including R&D, Manufacturing, Engineering, and New Business Development.
- Serving as a subject matter expert on material selection, performance characteristics, and application suitability to support sales and other organizational needs.
- Possessing comprehensive knowledge of in-reactor bed materials and catalytic solutions for Emission Control Technologies to define product design specifications.
- Managing product strategy and execution to achieve revenue objectives while overseeing product development initiatives.
- Conducting market research to identify new product opportunities that align with corporate strategy and product roadmap.
- Performing market and competitive analysis to convert insights into a compelling value proposition that enhances sales efforts.
- Providing technical assistance to customers, addressing specific requirements and installation challenges, and recommending suitable products to meet their performance indicators.
- Preparing detailed product specifications, cost assessments, and commercial proposals in collaboration with R&D and New Business Development teams.

Qualifications and Experience:
- A Master's or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years in a technical leadership role focused on the development and commercialization of catalytic products.
- A proactive individual with strong analytical capabilities, adept at addressing complex business challenges with effective solutions.
- A solid technical foundation to foster innovation in catalytic products for the Oil and Gas sector.
- A robust commercial understanding, with the ability to recognize customer needs, build lasting relationships, and explore new market opportunities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel as necessary, potentially up to 20% of the time.
