Job Description

At Liberty Military Housing, we're committed to providing exceptional service to our military families. As a Service Technician II, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our residential communities, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance, installation, and repairs on building systems and appliances.
  • Apply proficient skills in multiple trades, including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and appliance repair.
  • Perform installations, service repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks in homes, common areas, grounds, and community.
  • Complete resident-requested repairs and services within the required time frame.
  • Participate in routine inspections, including quality control, move-in, and preventative maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Two or more years of related experience required.
  • Intermediate level understanding and experience in basic trades, including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and appliance repair.
  • Certifications preferred in HVAC and EPA.
  • Excellent communication and interaction skills, sufficient to exchange or convey information and give and receive work direction.
  • Ability to operate small hand and electrical tools, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and small machinery repair.
  • Extensive knowledge of appliances.
  • Basic computer skills, including operating a mobile device and PC.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle, with a valid license required.
  • Must be available for regular on-call work assignments and emergency calls, work scheduled off-hours, and emergency overtime as required.
  • Ability to travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings, and other work-related activities.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including independently lifting/carrying supplies or equipment up to 65 lbs, frequent reaching, stooping, bending, and kneeling, and extensive walking and standing.
