Job Summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a highly skilled Class A CDL Driver to join our team in Savannah, GA. As a Class A Driver, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy and light duty trucks/work equipment at customer sites, performing driving and non-driving duties associated with hazardous waste clean-up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Commercial Trucks: Safely operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed, promoting a team atmosphere where everyone helps.
  • Class A Truck Operation: Operate a variety of Class A trucks, ensuring compliance with Company and DOT requirements/regulations.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks, performing manual labor on site to ensure fulfillment of customer needs.
  • Placarding and Reporting: Properly placard vehicles to meet Company and DOT requirements/regulations, maintaining daily logs, time sheets, and various reports.
  • Compliance and Safety: Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules, safely operating vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state, and federal requirements.
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL: Possess a valid Class A CDL and Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
  • Commercial Driver Experience: Have commercial driver experience, with previous Hazmat experience and ability to operate a manual transmission.
  • Physical Abilities: Perform physical functions per job requirements, successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical.
