Plumbing Inspector

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing/Mechanical Inspector to join our team at SAFEbuilt. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing field inspections during various stages of construction, reading and examining plans and specifications, and reporting violations and maintaining files/records.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform field inspections to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Read and examine plans and specifications to identify potential issues
- Report violations and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with other staff members, contractors, and governmental entities to resolve issues
- Extensive knowledge of local building codes and current construction procedures/technology
- Ability to interpret codes in the field and provide code-compliant solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management, organization, and attention to detail skills
- Must possess a Michigan Plumbing and/or Mechanical Inspector License(s) and additional Michigan License(s) preferred
