Job Summary

As a Bus Assistant at National Express LLC, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of students to their assigned destinations. This position requires a team player who can assist the bus driver with various tasks, including managing student behavior, maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle, and ensuring student safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the bus driver in managing student behavior and ensuring their safety while on board
  • Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, including the interior and exterior
  • Ensure that students are properly seated and restrained, using necessary seat belts, car seats, or wheelchair restraints
  • Assist students with entering and exiting the bus in a safe and orderly manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the bus driver or transportation manager
Requirements
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • Physical ability to lift and move objects, as well as stand for long periods of time
