Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit/Progressive Care Unit at Trinity Health. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients recovering from acute MI, cardiogenic shock, CHF, cardiac arrest, and various percutaneous interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyze patient information to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
  • Use teach-back methodology to educate patients and families on their care and treatment.
  • Actively seek to prevent potential hospital-acquired complications.
  • Effectively communicate patient status, priority goals, and interventions during consultations, rounds, and handoffs.
  • Follow all HIPAA policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of nursing that results in the ability to sit for the NCLEX exam to become licensed as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Experience in critical care nursing, preferably in a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit or Progressive Care Unit.
