Position Summary

The Lead Radiology Technologist is responsible for coordinating the activities and scheduling of the Radiology Technologists. This role involves performing various radiological procedures and being available for on-call duties as required. In the absence of the Supervisor or Director, this position will oversee the Radiology Department to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Qualifications

Special Skills: Strong verbal communication skills are essential for understanding and conveying radiological and medical instructions, as well as for effective interaction with patients and staff. Problem-solving abilities are also crucial.

Minimum Education: Completion of a JRCERT accredited program in Radiologic Technology.

Minimum Experience: One to two years of experience in radiology with demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Preferred Experience: Three years of radiology experience with proven leadership skills.

Required Certifications: Current certification and registration in Radiography R.T. (R)(CRT) and CPR.

Supervision: This role includes functional supervision over staff, students, and ancillary personnel within the department.
