Job Summary:

CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi Shoreline is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient
  • Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
  • Experience in travel assignments is required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed

Work Schedule:

Shift hours are from 7am to 11pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The role includes call duty from 11pm to 7am on weekends.

Benefits:

  • A minimum guarantee of 32 hours per week
  • Orientations are billable at a reduced rate for up to the first 36 hours
  • Holidays follow the Ministry Policy

Additional Information:

  • Travelers from within a 115-mile radius are not considered local candidates and are encouraged to apply
  • Former employees of CHRISTUS Spohn are not eligible for this position
  • The hurricane requirement is applicable as per the Ministry Policy
