We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Northeast Georgia Health System. As a RN-Staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.
About the Role:The NICU at Braselton provides care for Level II premature and term neonates as defined by the Georgia Department of Health's Neonatal Levels of Care document. Our NICU is licensed for 8 beds with flex bed capacity of 17.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct and safe patient care based on the nursing process
- Coordinate care for assigned patients on a shift to promote the achievement of clinical outcomes
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to facilitate appropriateness of care and smooth transitions across the continuum
- Actively participate in unit-based shared governance activities
- Support quality of care activities and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice
- Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia
- Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience
- Preferred Licensure or other certifications: BSN
