At Chrysalis, we seek a compassionate and skilled Behavioral Health Mentor to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting adolescents in their journey towards improved mental health and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe and effective de-escalation techniques to support upset teen girls
  • Model a positive and supportive atmosphere, encouraging healthy relationships and coping skills
  • Communicate important observations and updates to Shift Supervisors and Residential Managers
  • Document client progress notes daily, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Encourage teen engagement in activities of daily living (ADLs) and coping skill applications
Qualifications:
  • 21+ years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required; Associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, or related field preferred
  • Quick decision-making skills and a growth mindset, with a focus on Embark's core values
  • Min of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred; will provide training

Chrysalis is a small therapeutic boarding school for adolescent girls aged 13 to 18, located in northwestern Montana. We use a combination of therapy, individualized academics, family-style living, and adventure-based activities to help girls who have struggled academically, socially, and at home. Each Chrysalis student participates in an international service trip to better appreciate diversity and positively affect the lives of others.
