About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Systems Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a key member of our Infrastructure Team, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and deploying cloud computing solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing infrastructure foundational services, writing tools and services to improve automation for deployment and releases, building and maintaining test fleets, performing functional and regression testing on software, defining and performing stress testing, and monitoring production software.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby. You should also have 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience, as well as 2+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems.

In addition, you should have experience leading the design, build, and deployment of complex and performant software solutions in production. Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle is also highly desirable.
