Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting, and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, x-ray, and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and motivating team member.

Responsibilities
  • Room patients and assist with surgical procedures
  • Operate equipment used in veterinary care, including blood draws and x-ray machines
  • Draw blood and run bloodwork
  • Position patients for x-rays
  • Handle and restrain animals safely and humanely
  • Provide excellent client education and communication
  • Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (preferred)
  • 2+ years of veterinary experience
  • Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
  • Ability to obtain accurate and thorough medical histories
  • Experience with blood draws, IV catheters, and digital radiology
  • Knowledge of laboratory skills, including ear and fecal cytology, HM5, Vetscan, and Sedivue
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
