Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Software Engineering Lead to join our team at TA Instruments. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in languages such as C# and .Net.

As a Software Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications for thermal analysis, rheological, and calorimetric instruments. You will also be working closely with the management team to evaluate current systems and make design decisions on future development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and release/maintain software applications for thermal analysis, rheological, and calorimetric instruments.
  • Evaluate system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications.
  • Responsible for ongoing support of current programs including performance, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of problem programs and designing solutions to problematic programming.
  • Work within a formal development process covering the full development lifecycle.
  • Use code design abilities to generate and document appropriate designs.

The estimated salary for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a similar industry.
