About the Role

Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Macon, Georgia.

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all duties associated with acquisition, processing, and submission for interpretation of radiographic images.
  • Provide patient care and safety in accordance with departmental policy and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
  • Review diagnostic imaging requests for appropriateness and communicate with radiologists for final approval.
  • Enter patient and study information into the radiology information system and document billing codes for procedures performed.
  • Assist and consult with radiologists and other healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements
  • High School or GED Diploma Graduate.
  • Graduate of a JRCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT Registered or Registry eligible through the ARRT.
