Job Title: Outpatient Mental Health Professional with Flexible Scheduling
At Harmony United Psychiatric Care, we strive to provide comprehensive, full-service outpatient mental health services in Florida through in-person and virtual visits. Our team includes board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners like you, who can make a real difference in the lives of adults, adolescents, and children.
About the Role:
As an independent contractor with Harmony United Psychiatric Care, you will have the flexibility to determine your working hours while still enjoying the benefits of being part of a multidisciplinary team. You will work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to provide high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with various mental health conditions
- Provide medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions
- Administer injections for Long-Acting Injectables (LAIs) when necessary
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
- Stay current with advancements in psychiatry through continuing education and professional development
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Board certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum two years of experience in psychiatric nursing or one year of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner plus three years as a Nurse Practitioner in any specialty
- Active license in the State of Florida

Work Schedule and Environment:
Our offices are open Monday-Thursday for in-person and telehealth appointments, and you will have the option to work 50% telemedicine from the beginning of employment. You will be available to work via telemedicine Friday-Sunday and participate in on-call duties every 5-6 months.
