About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to support our expanding portfolio of work in the Intelligence Community (IC). As a collaborative member of a small and mostly autonomous team, this position directly supports secure enclave development networks.
Key Responsibilities- Configure and optimize network hubs, routers, and switches.
- Develop and implement network backup and recovery procedures.
- Diagnose network connectivity problems.
- Install and maintain network infrastructure device operating system software.
- Install or replace network hubs, routers, and switches.
- Monitor network capacity and performance.
- Patch network vulnerabilities to ensure information is safeguarded against outside parties.
- Test and maintain network infrastructure including software and hardware devices.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree OR High school diploma and 5 years' experience as a Network Engineer.
- Experience with Cisco IOS and PAN-OS.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
- Active DoD IAT Level III certification (e.g. Network+, CISSP, CCSP, GCIH, GCED, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA; reference cyber.mil for current list of approved certifications).
- Cisco certification preferred not required.
- Ability to demonstrate cyber/IT related experience with attention to detail, customer service, oral and written communication, and problem solving.
