Mission Health: Meadowbrook Health and Rehab is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our rehabilitation nursing team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Responsibilities- Provide total care for residents, including monitoring their condition and needs, administering medications and treatments, and ensuring the narcotic policies and procedures are followed.
- Oversee the nursing assistant-registered (NAR) staff to ensure that resident care plans are being followed.
- Complete documentation, including admitting and discharging residents, and reporting any bruises, skin tears, or neglect.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations, as well as uphold facility policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues.
- LPN licensure with the GA Board of Nursing
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
- Desire to work with the elderly
- Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required
This full-time health care position works 12-hour shifts.
