Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, systems, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Facility Operations: Assist in the daily operation of the facility, including monitoring and controlling systems, and performing tasks as needed.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; facility maintenance tech school preferred.
  • Experience: Four years of industrial facility and ASRS maintenance experience, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulations; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Valid state driver's license and proof of liability coverage meeting Company standards; completion of Sysco-approved defensive driving program; Powered Industrial Equipment Certification from Sysco within 3 months.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional exposure to wet, hot, extreme cold, and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; confined spaces.
  • Non-traditional business hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call.
  • Occasional travel to other Operating Companies or the corporate office as business needs dictate.
