Sales Clerk

Hyannis Country Garden is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Cashier, available in both full-time and part-time capacities. In this position, you will be tasked with managing Point of Sale transactions and facilitating product sales for the organization. The work environment is a blend of indoor and outdoor settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize a computerized cash register to accurately process sales transactions.
• Engage with customers through friendly greetings and interactions.
• Assess customer interests and preferences, guiding them towards suitable products and solutions.
• Address and resolve any customer inquiries or concerns effectively.
• Acquire comprehensive product knowledge across all store departments and offer informative tours of the property.
• Ensure the stock, organization, and cleanliness of cash register areas are maintained.
• Leverage customer accounts database and rewards program features.
• Maintain a precise cash drawer balance.
• Adhere to company standards and expectations as outlined in the policy manual and training resources.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a cashier role is preferred.
• Familiarity with retail sales practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively interact with the public.
