Are you eager to contribute to the manufacturing sector? We are seeking a committed Mechanical Restoration Specialist to enhance our vibrant team. In this capacity, you will play a crucial role in the refurbishment of Traction Motor Combo components, ensuring they align with our stringent quality benchmarks while following safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize Safety: Adhere to all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies while performing tasks with accuracy.
- Assist in Production: Participate in the manufacturing or restoration of UX Traction Motor Combo components.
- Operate Machinery: Effectively manage both manual and automated production tools, along with various hydraulic or pneumatic devices.
- Conduct Inspections: Ensure adherence to quality and engineering specifications by evaluating components with advanced measuring instruments and testing methods.
- Maintain Documentation: Complete process documentation and ensure precision in all activities.
Qualifications We Seek:
- Experience in Custom Assembly: We are looking for candidates with a background in mechanical assembly, electrical work, fabrication, machining, or welding.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with EHS procedures and policies.
- Capability to safely utilize manual tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of inspection measurement tools and lean manufacturing practices.
Training and Development:
- Comprehensive on-the-job training to support your success.
- Quality audits to ensure compliance with internal standards.
- Safety and specialized process training/certification as required.
- Ability to lift weights up to 75 lbs.
