At Solvarus Consulting, we are focused on addressing intricate challenges by providing expert assistance to the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense. Your contributions will be pivotal in enhancing the development and deployment of vital tools for defense personnel and other stakeholders.

This position is part of a program dedicated to delivering Enterprise Systems Engineering and Integration services to a national intelligence acquisition and operations organization. The program is designed to streamline acquisition processes across diverse mission areas within a complex national systems framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the comprehensive closure of system requirements for Space Indications and Warning (I&W) projects and related activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Integration and Closure (I&C) readiness protocols.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization, including tracking actions and ensuring follow-up.
  • Support the integration of new initiatives aimed at enhancing mission capabilities.
  • Assess requirements, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), architectural products, system timelines, and associated risks.
  • Serve as the Systems Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA) 'trusted agent' to the client by providing evaluations and recommendations to meet mission objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 10 to 12 years of relevant experience with a BS/BA, or 8 to 10 years with an MS/MA, or 5 to 7 years with a PhD.
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
  • Previous experience within the Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Familiarity with Ground systems and the overall architecture of space and ground systems.
  • Knowledge of mission technical capabilities and system performance evaluation.
  • Experience in Mission Planning, Control, or Processing functions that support space and ground systems.
  • Expertise in requirements engineering, CONOPS development, verification, testing, and system integration for comprehensive Systems Engineering to support client missions.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and regular interaction with government clients on-site.
  • Proficient in Ground or Space systems and Indications & Warning (I&W) systems.
  • Experience with DOORs requirements database management, Rhapsody and SysML applications, Confluence, and Jira.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and contributing to mission success.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in large-scale acquisition systems engineering projects, methodologies, and processes.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficient in MS Office.
  • Solid business acumen and a professional demeanor in the workplace.
  • Highly organized and adaptable.
