Job Overview

At Madison Reed Hair Color Bar, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Cosmetology Business Leader to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our salon team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive business growth.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is between $38,000 - $43,000 per year, plus commission, tips and potential bonuses. This includes a competitive hourly rate of $20-$22 per hour, plus additional income opportunities through sales and commissions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills and providing guidance to the salon team to ensure excellent guest experiences and high-quality services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, increase sales, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute marketing campaigns, promote products and services, and build strong relationships with guests and community partners.
  • Recruit, train, and develop talented team members to ensure a highly skilled and dedicated workforce.
  • Maintain a clean and organized salon environment, adhering to company standards and best practices.
  • Monitor and manage salon operations, including scheduling, inventory, and customer service.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A valid cosmetology license in the state where you will be working.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a colorist behind the chair in a salon environment.
  • Proven leadership experience, preferably in a fast-paced retail or salon setting.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to operate point-of-sale systems and manage cash handling responsibilities.
  • Fluency in English.
