Position SummaryWe are excited to offer a sign-on bonus of $2,000 for new hires.
The Senior Automotive Service Technician role requires your extensive experience and technical knowledge to diagnose drivability and electrical systems. You will utilize your leadership and mentoring abilities to guide a team towards enhanced customer service and satisfaction.
Compensation:$40.99 per hour
Our technicians benefit from a performance-based compensation model known as flat-rate pay, which rewards skilled professionals with a predetermined amount for each eligible task. This system promotes efficiency and ensures that you are compensated fairly for your expertise and commitment.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair to specifications - including brake and hydraulic systems, exhaust, fuel ignition and electrical systems, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
- Clearly communicate technical diagnoses and necessary repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
- Stay updated with rapidly evolving automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
- Assist and mentor technicians/mechanics in executing technical tasks.
- Maintain a valid automobile driver's license and be capable of driving customer and company vehicles.
Applicants should possess a minimum of 5 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a Vocational-Technical School program in a related field, or demonstrated skills through third-party certifications/assessments. A.S.E. certification in at least five of A1-A8 (with L1 as one of the five) is required. New hires with similar external qualifications/certifications will have up to two years of employment to comply.
Additionally, candidates must maintain Federal, State, and Local certifications/licenses where applicable and demonstrate the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical individuals. Proficiency in reading, writing, and math skills is essential.
