Speech Therapist Job Description

Centers Plan for Healthy Living is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to provide home-based speech therapy services to clients in Rockland County, NY.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct home visits to assess and treat patients with speech and language disorders.
  • Evaluate patients' conditions for swallowing or cognitive deficits and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide ongoing evaluation and modification of treatment programs to ensure timely progression.
  • Document patient progress, goals, and attendance in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Select and use appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and materials.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech Therapy or a foreign degree equivalent as accepted by US Citizenship and Immigration Services.
  • Valid New York State license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact well with diverse individuals.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • New graduates welcome.

Benefits:

  • Hourly pay rate of $75.00.
  • Travel required, with 100% travel percentage.
