About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of Hospice Home Health Aides at Luna Del Valle Hospice. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our patients, assisting with activities of daily living, offering emotional support, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.

Salary: $19.00 per hour, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any changes in patient condition.

Requirements:
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
  • Previous experience in hospice or palliative care preferred.
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
