Job Overview

Seeds of Excellence Christian Academy is seeking dedicated and experienced substitute educators to support our educational programs. As a substitute educator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of our students' learning experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the overall management of the classroom, maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Develop positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Provide high-quality instruction and support to students, adapting to their individual needs.
  • Be flexible and available to work on an as-needed basis, covering staff absences or providing additional support.
Requirements
  • A willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Age 18 or older.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of working with children.
  • Completion of required trainings, including CPR and First Aid.
Benefits

As a substitute educator, you will be compensated at a rate of $150 per day for an 8-hour shift. This rate will be pro-rated for shorter shifts.
