Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Behavioral Health Department at Emerson Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of clinical tasks under the supervision of the Chair of Psychiatry and in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Provide psychiatric evaluations, consultations in the Emergency Department, and on patient floors, as well as weekend call coverage.
  • Collaborate with the Behavioral Health team to provide comprehensive and efficient patient care.
  • Ensure the quality and safe delivery of care to adult patients.
Requirements
  • Advanced Practice Nursing Degree from an accredited school with specialization in psychiatric/mental health nursing.
  • Previous experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in an inpatient setting.
  • Current license as a Nurse Practitioner in Massachusetts.
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) and certification as a PMHNP.
  • BLS healthcare provider certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Computer skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
