Dialysis Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Dialysis Patient Care Technician to join our team at Dialysis Clinic, Inc. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe and high-quality care for patients with end-stage renal disease.

• Participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Guide new patients through a comprehensive 120-day education plan to ensure they receive the best possible care.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment, working under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood systems for treatment, and insert and remove patient access needles as needed.
• Monitor patients during dialysis, documenting changes and informing the charge nurse of any concerns.
• Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight, and determine patient care priorities to organize workload effectively.
• Maintain professional working relationships, observing patient privacy and rights, and track inventory to ensure efficient operations.
• Perform laboratory work as needed to support patient care.
