This is an exciting opportunity to provide medical care for patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge in the field.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional medical support for Gastroenterology patient care, working independently and collaboratively with physicians and hospital staff.
- Coordinate care for patients with IBD, including screening patient conditions and needs, educating patients on health maintenance and disease prevention, and acting as a resource for patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Set treatment plans and prescribe appropriate actions to meet the plans within established protocols, ensuring adherence to immunosuppressive medication and improving follow-up on adjusting therapy ordered by IBD providers.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly, in line with IBD provider recommendations.
- Master of Science in Nursing degree.
- Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN.
- Document of Recognition from the Missouri Board of Nursing.
The University of Missouri School of Medicine offers a competitive salary range of $90,251 - $147,285 and a dynamic work environment that values collaboration and innovation.
