Key Responsibilities:
- Student Loan Assistance: This position may qualify for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, which provides financial support to help reduce your student debt, offering an additional monthly payment of $167 (up to $10,000) to accelerate your loan repayment.

Position Duties:
- Support patient care within a clinical environment.
- Establish long-lasting, meaningful relationships with a diverse group of patients.
- Collaborate with clinic personnel to address and resolve practice-related challenges.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program with an Associate's degree or diploma is preferred.
- Experience of six months to one year in a related field is preferred.
Certifications Required:
- National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAAMA); or
- National Registration as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologist (AMT); or
- National Certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health Career Association, along with a Medical Assistant diploma.
- Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter.
