Job Summary

Donaldson is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Welder, you will be responsible for setting up and welding products according to print specifications, ensuring high-quality results and meeting production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding Operations: Perform set up and all position welding on a diversified line of standard and non-standard products, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
  • Product Assembly: Fit and position product weldments having several parts, using welding and welding fixtures and jigs where applicable.
  • Quality Control: Comply with all quality control procedures, including statistical process control (SPC) data collection and use of graphs.
  • Safety and Compliance: Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, or completion of a welding diploma from an accredited weld school.
  • Experience: Six months of industrial weld experience, or a combination of weld education and experience.
  • Certifications: Ability to pass a blueprint reading test and a practical weld test.
  • Skills: Ability to MIG and TIG weld, and perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment.
