Job Summary

The Production Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of bakery operations, ensuring seamless production, quality, and safety. This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing and is accountable for leading a team of operators and general laborers. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in manufacturing operations, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to meet business goals
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing flow and quality
  • Own the auditing of line costs and develop plans to bring spending within budget ranges
  • Provide effective leadership and communication to ensure alignment of employees across multiple shift operations
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis of chronic issues and assign responsibility for corrective actions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing Operations or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years prior relevant experience in Manufacturing Operations or like industry
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including a willingness to listen to others and include others' ideas in their plan
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action in a manufacturing environment
Work Environment

This position works in a manufacturing environment with variable temperature and loud noises from machinery and equipment alarms. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be willing to spend significant amounts of time on the production floor.
