Load Planner

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Load Planner to join our team at Quality Carriers. As a Load Planner, you will play a critical role in coordinating all functions of load planning and freight movement to maximize profitability and optimize terminal assets and resources.

• Coordinate daily load planning and freight movement to ensure safe, on-time pick up and delivery
• Align drivers with customer loads to meet business expectations
• Provide timely updates and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on performance and business expectations
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2-year business degree preferred
• 3 years of experience in industrial customer service, geographical expertise, and chemical bulk transportation industry
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Knowledge of transportation market, customer business, and tanker equipment
• DOT safety and compliance knowledge
• Experience with safety procedures and computer software (e.g., Word, Excel, TMW)

• Associates degree or better
• Customer service experience
• Microsoft Excel skills
• Analytical thinking and communication skills

This role operates in an office and warehouse environment. The employee will regularly and repetitively be required to talk, hear, sit, type, reach, and grasp in a typical office environment. The position may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, or crouching, and the employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 20 pounds.
