Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Local Truck Driver to join our team at Core-Mark. As a key member of our distribution team, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on local routes to deliver and unload products to customers
  • Perform pre- and post-trip safety checks and ensure compliance with Department of Transportation regulations
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and co-workers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products
  • Load and unload products from trailers, and secure trailers to prevent damage or loss
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures as required
Requirements
  • Valid CDL-A license and a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years
  • Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
  • Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Attain or have a valid current DOT Health Card
  • Ability to lift and move product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift
