We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at KAMAX. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing environment involving heat treatment, cold forming, or large press stamping/machining.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Maintain operation of machinery by completing preventative maintenance requirements on all production equipment.
- Building Maintenance: Perform minor building maintenance, including problems with heating, plumbing, electrical, and structural.
- Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting abilities to locate source of problems by observing device, listening for problems, and using testing instruments.
- Welding and Fabrication: Welding, altering, and fabrication of components on machinery using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
- Equipment Replacement: Replace, fix, or realign machine parts and accessories in line with production specifications.
- Equipment Movement: Movement of equipment, both internal and external.
- Defective Component Removal: Removal of defective components using hoists, cranes, hand, and power tools.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Assist in safety and housekeeping repairs.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned, including filling out work orders and repair slips.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- Physical Abilities: Physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach.
- Licenses: Hi-Lo, manlift, and crane license is required.
- Noise: Heavy machinery.
- Chemicals and Materials: Chemicals, oils, acids, sprays, coolants, and solvents.
- Batteries and Propane: Batteries and propane.
- Temperature Fluctuations: Temperature fluctuations.
- Enclosed Spaces: Enclosed spaces.
- Additional Responsibilities: Added responsibility as outlined in the Environmental Management System.
- Training: Training to be completed annually.

- Electrical Troubleshooting: Proficient in electrical troubleshooting skills.

- Servo Motors: Experience with servo motors.
