Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders, collaborating with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university, current state licensure as a COTA in Texas, and at least 6 months of full-time clinical experience. Experience in pediatrics is preferred, but not required. A valid auto insurance policy and driver's license are also essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in the patient's home or daytime facility.
  • Schedule supervision visits with the supervising OT according to Texas board guidelines.
  • Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
  • Plan for care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
